Humanscale Healthcare COVID-19 Update

Dear Customers and Partners,

As Humanscale continues to respond to the COVID-19 situation, like you, we have concentrated on keeping our employees safe while fulfilling the needs of our customers in today’s rapidly changing environment. The vast majority of our employees are working remotely and have the necessary technology platforms to conduct virtual meetings to ensure seamless communication with our clients around the world.

Our factories remain open and operational as we make every effort to keep up with the increased demand for our cart and wall mounted workstations. We have taken a number of steps to protect those employees still working in our factories. This includes limiting factory access to production personnel only, sanitizing shoes when entering and leaving the premises, checking employees’ temperature twice daily to detect fever and providing personal protective equipment in the form of face masks, face shields and gowns.

Our production lines have been reconfigured to keep a safe distance between individuals and where possible we have installed plexiglass partitions between assembly stations. Employees have received training from a registered nurse on correct use of their personal protective equipment and educated on the importance of maintaining social distancing during breaks. Additionally, we have created segregated teams so that we can continue production in the event one team is taken out of action due to illness.

Also, I’d like to share that we’ve made several programs available to our customer’s employees so they can easily get our ‘work from home’ products and tools at an accessible price to make working from home easier and healthier. We are also able to deliver ergonomic assessments and advice directly to home workers through new virtual consultations.
