DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES — Worldwide ergonomics leader Humanscale will exhibit its latest innovations, such as the T7 mobile technology cart and the V6 technology wall station, at Arab Health, 28 – 31 January, 2013.

Visitors to the booth will be able to get a hands-on experience with a number of new products that change the caregiving experience. Among them is the revolutionary T7 mobile technology cart, which expertly combines Auto Fit™ technology that enables the cart to automatically adjust to the user’s entered height in just one easy step and Power Track™ steering, which implements a fifth wheel for exceptional manouverability. Also on display will be the innovative V6 technology wall station, which ergonomically accommodates caregivers in sitting or standing positions and features flexible monitor arms to encourage patient-caregiver interactions. And, to better serve caregivers in the seated position, the Pony Saddle seat offers ergonomic comfort, putting the user’s spine in a healthy lordotic curve.

In addition to healthcare solutions, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the products that comprise a complete ergonomic workstation, including monitor arms, keyboard trays, task chairs, task lights and air purifiers. The sophisticated M2™ monitor arm uses a mechanical spring, rather than a failure-prone gas cylinder, exceeding durability expectations set by most current-generation monitor arms, and clears space on the work surface to enable users to freely write and reference. By bringing the work to the user, the monitor arm works in conjunction with the Humanscale keyboard tray, which allows users to sit back and relax in their task chairs. Providing exceptional ergonomic comfort due to its Form-Sensing Mesh Technology and tailored lumbar support, the simple Diffrient World® task chair—composed of just eight major parts and weighing only 25 pounds—features Humanscale’s signature weight-sensitive recline, adjusting to the user’s body and weight without the need for manual controls. With seven adjustable levels of brightness, the customisable Element Disc™ LED task light is also equipped with a user-friendly feature: a passive infrared (PIR) occupancy sensor that turns the light on or off when the user enters or leaves the area, thus saving energy. And, completing the ergonomic workstation, the ZŌN® Personal air purifier envelops the user in a “clean air zone” by eliminating 99% of airborne toxins and contaminants with patented DEP Technology®.
